Yamaha shares full line-up of new, updated 2026 models
Yamaha has released a list of all the 2026 bikes that are new in some shape or form – even if it's just a change of paint.

As it starts to put a bow on what has been its 70th year in operation, Yamaha is sharing the details of the new things that fans of the brand can expect in 2026.
'New' is a subjective word, and in some cases the bikes here have simply received new paint schemes. Additionally, we can’t help but think that Yamaha isn’t showing us EVERYTHING that will be new in 2026. We don’t have any inside knowledge on this, but we wouldn’t be at all surprised to see some additional new bikes showing up in the next few months, as riding season draws nearer.
It’s been a reasonably good year for Team Blue, with the brand rolling out its Y-AMT (Yamaha Automated Manual Transmission) to more and more models.
(Editor Toad Hancocks wrote an article explaining Y-AMT earlier this year; you might want to check it out)

“The brand has steadily strengthened its reputation as a leading manufacturer of exceptional, innovative and fun two-wheeled vehicles,” boasts a Yamaha media release. “Every Yamaha motorcycle and scooter is designed to deliver a unique riding experience that inspires, excites and thrills the rider.”
“From the revolutionary R9 to the thrilling MT-09 SP Hyper Naked, right up to the iconic TMAX Sport Scooter and XSR900 GP Sport Heritage models, every single model that proudly displays the famous tuning fork logo embodies pure Yamaha DNA and premium build quality as standard,” the media release continues.
