Jenny Tinmouth motorcycle stunts reel

Chase scenes in films can be some of the most awesome & jaw-dropping sequences of entire feature-length films, and when you throw in motorcycles they get even more outrageous. Enter stage: Jenny Tinmouth. After all, we all love motorcycle stunts.

English motorcycle racer extraordinaire, Jenny is the current female Isle of Man TT lap record holder at 119.945mph, an achievement she marked on her first-ever TT back in 2009, and is the first (and only) female to have raced in the British Superbike Championship.

Fast forward to today, and Jenny is seen on the big screen as a stunt performer, plying her trade in blockbuster films like Mission Impossible: Fallout.

The coolness factor is literally off the charts, I’ve always thought stunts people can make or break a film. Even in Twilight, there’s a sequence where a stunt driver does what is quite possibly the most perfect J-turn I’ve ever seen on screen.

Drifting through city streets, weaving through traffic at speed, and carving up the canyons, this 2:40 video of epic proportions has all of the best bits crammed into one. Bikes include a BMW S100RR, Triumph Tiger, a blacked-out scrambler.

In particular, the Tiger sequence in what looks like Paris is an absolute delight. Down staircases, through red lights, along outside corridors at a rate of knots, it has it all - including shooting at Tom Cruise in an old Beemer!

We’re also treated to a top slow-mo racetrack sequence at the very end of the vid, where she’s on a blacked-out Honda CBR Blade.

Jenny is currently racing in the National Superstock Championship on a Langen Motorcycle.

What a fantastic watch, enjoyed this. Also, the obligatory ‘don’t try this at home’.
