IN a clearly pre-meditated stunt all in the name of visibility and content, a Ducati Panigale V2 was ridden into famous YouTuber David Dobrik’s pool in California during a house party.
Piloted by Ilya Fedorovich, the white Panigale V2 heads through the house party with a pillion towards the garden, as Dobrik shouts ‘Ilya not in the f***ing living room!’
Then, as Dobrik repositions himself and his camera outside for the best angle, Ilya continues on without his pillion heading towards a vacated pool. Plunging into the water, Dobrik then lets his mate know ‘I wasn’t filming!’ for that extra bit of shock factor.

Poor Panigale, it didn’t deserve a fate like that. Lifestyles of the rich and famous, eh?
At a cool £14,995 new, the stunt takes up a solid 20 seconds in the vlog - that’s about £750 per second of footage.
Admittedly this was all done in the name of content and exposure, and I’m fully aware that by writing this I’m giving the ‘Vlog Squad’ the exposure they are after - but that was the life of a beautiful Italian machine!
For those of you unaware who these guys are, David Dobrik is a 25 year old YouTuber who has built a huge social media presence with his vlogs on the video sharing site.
His chums in the vlogs are a mix of close friends and other social media influencers who regularly feature alongside each other, with Dobrik filming their exceedingly wacky mischief.
It’s all in good fun, and I guess £15,000 is nothing to some people. Just like Keith Moon going for a quick dip in a Rolls Royce - although that seems to be a bit of an urban myth.
David, next time you fancy filming a crazy stunt like this, I’ve got an idea… ‘Dobrik sends motorcycle to UK motorcycle fan!’ Imagine the clicks.
