Suzuki slashes prices on models by up to £1k
Like saving money? Then Suzuki has something to tell you.

Here’s some welcome news: Suzuki is reducing the prices of several of its models, with the asking price on some bikes dropping as much as £1,000.
Let’s start with the big numbers and work our way down.
Reduced by £1,000, the excellent and criminally underappreciated GSX-S1000GT+ sees its price drop to £12,999. That’s not bad for a 150bhp machine that’s all-day comfortable and offers up cruiser-like levels of torque.
Also seeing a £1,000 price drop is the equally enjoyable GSX-S1000 naked bike. Equipped with the same 1000cc inline four engine as the GSX-S1000GT+ but without the fairing, the GSX-S1000 is now priced at £10,999.

The final member of the £1,000 club is the laudable V-Strom 800DE. The off-road focused machine has 21-inch front wheel, switchable ABS, off-road traction control settings, quickshifter, and power modes. It now comes in just a quid shy of the £10k mark at £9,999.
Reduced by £900 is the also excellent GSX-S1000GX+, a bike that we’re currently spending a few months with and loving. It has all the bells and whistles of the GSX-S1000GT with a more upright adventure-bike-style riding position, plus an electronically adjustable suspension. The GX will now set you back £14,999.
In both the case of the GSX-S1000GT+ and GSX-S1000GX+, these models will be replacing the base models. Which means luggage is now standard on either flavour of sport tourer.
Savings on the other reduced models, meanwhile, is less dramatic.

The road-focused V-Strom 800RE has been reduced by £200, to £9,499. And the Katana, which is almost identical in performance to the GSX-S1000, also sees its asking price drop by £200, to £12,499.
“This pricing realignment is designed to make our commitment to affordability and value-packed products clearer and more accessible,” says Suzuki GB’s head of motorcycles, Jonathan Martin. “By shifting our focus away from short-term promotional sales campaigns, the costs to the consumer are clearer and more transparent, making it easier for buyers to experience Suzuki products.”
