Royal Enfield is heading back to Wheels & Waves this June, turning the heat up for the 14th edition of Europe’s most eclectic motorcycle culture festival.

Held in the ever-vibrant Biarritz from June 11–15, the Indian manufacturer is bringing along a fleet of wild custom machines, a track-ready chopper for Punks Peak, and a tempting chance to win a trip to Motoverse 2025 in sunny Goa.

A Custom World like no other

Park yourself in the Wheels & Waves village and you’ll find Royal Enfield’s Custom World stand, an annual highlight of the show. But this year’s line-up is looking more international and out-there than ever before.

On display will be freshly built, one-off specials from the likes of Japan’s Sureshot, Kingston Custom, Sideburn Magazine, AMS Garage (Bali), and more. The idea is to showcase Royal Enfield’s knack for blending timeless platforms with global creativity, and from the early teasers, it’s safe to say there’ll be plenty for garage-built fans to pore over.

SAMURAI goes to war on 'Punks Peak'

Wednesday sees the return of the Punks Peak sprint, thundering up the Mont Jaizkibel hairpins in classic Wheels & Waves style. This year, Royal Enfield is fielding a new weapon: the SAMURAI, built by Takuya Aikawa of Sureshot. Based on the 648cc parallel twin (you’ll know it from the Interceptor and GT), it’s been pumped up to 865cc with an S&S Big Bore kit and tuned to the hilt for sprint duty.

Once it’s done tearing up the tarmac, the SAMURAI will become a centrepiece at the ArtRide exhibition at Biarritz Skatepark. It’ll sit alongside a live art installation by the Pistache Brothers, who are also whipping up a range of limited-edition T-shirts to mark the occasion.

Ride-outs, half-pipes, and punk rock

Beyond the customs and the racing, Royal Enfield is keeping things social. Members of the Royal Enfield Riders Club Europe will join a special Ride Out on Friday, teaming up with Vintage Rides to explore the Basque backroads. Expect the usual camaraderie, sweeping views, and a healthy dose of thumping singles and twins.

Back in the village, things ramp up with live music from Titanic Bombe Gas, food, drinks, and good vibes around the Custom World booth. And if you're more about grip tape than grip levels, keep an eye on the ‘Tricks for Cash’ skate comp—sponsored by Royal Enfield and promising some serious talent on the half-pipe.

Win your way into the Motoverse

And if all that wasn’t enough, Royal Enfield is giving festivalgoers the chance to win two tickets to Motoverse 2025—their annual celebration of all things two-wheeled, held on the hilltops of Vagator, Goa.

The prize includes access to the INTO THE MOTOVERSE Tour, an 11-day motorcycle adventure through the Western Ghats, taking in Hampi, Jogg Falls, Badami caves, and 680 miles of twisty roads, jungles, and historic sites. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime trip for anyone who likes their riding with a side of spice and soul.

To enter, swing by the Royal Enfield booth at Wheels & Waves or catch them at another European event like ABR Festival before entries close on 29th June 2025. The winner will be announced on 2nd July.
