Haslam to wear England World Cup inspired helmet

To support the England World cup effort the Championship leader will wear a one-off design

AHEAD of the Kyalami World Superbike race this weekend Leon Haslam will wear a one-off World Cup inspired Arai.

The championship leader, Haslam designed the helmet in support of the England football team when he races at the South African round, before the kick-off of the World Cup. The inspired design, by Leon, features gold lions on the side with the three lions logo that will adorn the shirts of Terry, Ferdinand and co on the chin and in honour of the last World Cup victors, the names of the 1966 team circling the base.

For his own personal motivation for the team Haslam has included the World Cup itself, draped in the South African flag. Haslam commented on the one-off design saying: "I love this. It’s great to have an input in designing something so personal and see the end result in the flesh – and this helmet looks fantastic, even better than I expected."

He added: "I’ll be proud to wear it this weekend, battling for wins and the WSB championship and can only hope and dream that we get somewhere near the top step as a team in the World Cup itself."

To join Leon Haslam and support the England World Cup team you can buy the Limited Edition Arai Chaser replica, priced at £399.99. Visit www.whyarai.co.uk for more information.
