FP3 sessions cancelled at Austin
Lightning forces cancellation of Saturday morning sessions at Austin MotoGP.

Saturday morning's Free Practice 3 sessions for MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 have been cancelled due to lightning at Austin.
Local laws prevent marshals from being out on track if lightning is in the vicinity and, after a dry Friday, the forecast storm descended on COTA.
It was initially hoped that delayed and shortened FP3 sessions could be held, but further lightning eventually forced the sessions to be abandoned.
The Moto3 and Moto2 classes are thus set to go straight into their Qualifying 1 and Qualifying 2 sessions, while MotoGP will have FP4, Qualifying 1 and Qualifying 2. Assuming the lightning stays away...
The track is wet but drying.
