BSB: Sean Emmett to ride SMT Honda at Mallory

British Superbikes veteran makes comeback this weekend

SEAN EMMETT is making his return to BSB this weekend when he steps into the vacant berth for SMT Honda at Mallory.

Emmett is deputising for the injured Adam Jenkinson who smashed his left forearm and badly broke his right wrist during an horrific 140mph crash at Thruxton in the first round of the year.

Emmett said: "I am really up for it this weekend! I am looking forward to being out again in BSB and mixing it with the guys. I haven't ridden at Mallory Park for two years and therefore have not ridden the new layout of the chicane, but I do have a lot of experience and I am just going to jump on the bike and go for it in free practice on Friday. I want to finish in the top ten so that I can do both myself and the team justice and there is no real reason why I shouldn't."
