New Akrapovič exhaust for the 2021 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT

Fancy a sporty upgrade for the definitive Yamaha Tracer 9 GT sports tourer? Akrapovic has launched a Racing Line (Titanium) exhaust.

Yamaha Tracer 9 GT Akrapovic exhaust titanium

WE absolutely loved the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT when we were at the UK press launch earlier this year. Considering the CP3 motor sounded pretty spectacular as it comes, for those after a little extra rasp (and a touch more poke to go with it) distinguished performance exhaust manufacturer Akrapovič has launched a tempting full-system accessory.

Replacing the fully underslung OEM unit from Yamaha, the Racing Line (Titanium) boost performance across the entire rev range, improve throttle response, and increase power by a reported 2 BHP at 10,000 revs, and 1.3 Nm at 9700 rpm as tested in-house by the Slovenian manufacturer.

What’s more, the unit comes complete with a built-in catalytic converter (so that it’s street legal in Europe).

Built to fit the CP3 motor on both the Tracer 9 & Tracer 9 GT, the system will deliver that renowned racing sound output that turns heads. Assembled with high-grade titanium and carbon fibre end caps, the overall weight significantly dropping from the standard system.

If you’re a new Tracer 9 GT owner that missed the silhouette of an end-can, this full system exhaust certainly brings back the classic sporty aesthetic for this tourer.

All in, expect to pay around £1,050 for the Akrapovic Racing Line (Titanium) full system exhaust. Compare that to the £1,651.06 listed as an official accessory on the Tracer 9 GT page, and you’ve got yourself a bargain.

We’ve currently got an Akrapovič exhaust mounted on our long-term MT-09 loan bike, and if you’re interested in how it’s going on, check out our feature here
