Suzuki V-Strom 2021 new colours

IN a year that has so far seen fairly broad updates to the Hayabusa and GSX-S1000, the Suzuki V-Strom is next on the list - and receives some new colourway options for adventure fans to pick from.

Available in dealers now, the new colour options are:

New 2021 Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT colours

  • Metallic Oort Grey / Glass Sparkle Black - a steely grey with blue decals, grey seat and blue spoked wheels

  • Pearl Brilliant White / Glass Blaze Orange - DR750 inspired, the popular orange and white colourway option.

  • Champion Yellow No.2 / Glass Sparkle Black - An updated yellow option, influenced by the RM-Z motocross range, with black tank and gold rims.

  • Glass Sparkle Black - With new subtle grey and gold decals with gold wheels, this option is an update from the 2020 black colourway. (I love gold rims on black bikes)

New 2021 Suzuki V-Strom 1050 colour

  • Candy Daring Red / Glass Sparkle Black - a bold red and black livery option.

Not to be left out, the V-Strom 1050XT Tour Edition will also receive the same updates as the 1050XT - and will come with additional three-piece 112-litre aluminium luggage.

Launched in 2020, the V-Strom 1050 range all feature the same 107PS (105bhp) V-Twin engine, outputting 100Nm of torque at 6000 revs, with a host of smart electronic modes on the XT - three selectable engine maps, traction control with three modes, lean angle-sensitive ABS with two modes, linked brakes with slope and load-dependent control and hill hold, plus cruise control.

The standard model (non XT) has many of the same electronic features, but opts for cast aluminium wheels, and loses the engine bars and handguards.

With the 1050 priced at £9,999, the 1050XT model is priced at £11,599, and the XT Tour is £12,799.
