Spied: Naked Suzuki GSX-S1000

Spy shots show production-ready GSX-S1000 naked bike

SPY SHOTS have appeared of Suzuki’s all-new 2015 GSX-S1000 super naked, caught on an official photo shoot in the States.

The GSX-S1000 is said to have a retuned version of the 182hp 999cc inline four-cylinder engine from the GSX-R1000. It can be seen with Brembo brakes, ABS and styling similar to the GSR750.

This is the first superbike-derived naked from Suzuki since the GSX1300 B-King was dropped from their line-up in 2012 due to poor sales.

It will compete with the BMW S1000R, Honda CB1000R and Kawasaki Z1000, and is likely to be revealed early October at the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany, or at the EICMA show in Milan the following month.
