The Chinese brand will apparently bring the bikes to Europe.

IT has been reported that the Chinese brand QJMotor will be launching a pair of 700cc-class motorcycles, and will bring them to Europe.

According to Motorcycles News, QJMotor is apparently in the process of developing two bikes to be powered by a 693cc twin-cylinder engine: one naked model, and a sports model.

The engine will be similar to that used by CFMoto in their CL 700 X, and is expected to deliver around 76 horsepower.

Marzocchi suspension will be equipped on both bikes, Motorcycles News reports, with the naked model, coming with a 15-litre tank, being called the SRK-700.

Both bikes will also be equipped with Brembo brakes- or should that be all three? Motorcycles News also reports that there are likely to be two versions of the sports bike version. One is expected to be cheaper than the other, with the more expensive version being suspended courtesy of Ohlins, rather than Marzocchi; having a 190 rear tyre rather than 180; and weighing 198kg rather than 193kg.

One similarity between the two sports models is the winglets that appear on both. Those, together with the shape of both the tail section and the front part of the fairing show that QJMotor are clearly going for the ‘Panigale’ look. It is also notable that the version that is expected to be the ‘standard’ one is painted red. That said, there is something about the shape of the side fairing - and maybe also the lights -  that makes it look somewhat last-gen Fireblade-ish.

More information on the QJMotor 700s is expected soon, and perhaps they will be demonstrated by Elia Bartolini and Matteo Bertelle, who race with the QJMotor-sponsored KTMs of Esponsorama Racing’s Moto3 team.
