Production Husqvarna 901 Norden ventures into view in new spy shots

New spy shots reveal the Husqvarna 901 Norden is not only nearing production-ready form but it will stay true to the concept revealed in 2019

While manufacturers left right and centre have been busy using November as an opportunity to preview the wares they will be touting come 2021, it’s been rather quiet over at Husqvarna as it instead puts its focus to getting the new Norden 901 into dealerships.

The latest push from the Swedish firm to establish itself in new sectors under the guiding eye (and wallet) of KTM, the Norden 901 will be the biggest and most powerful ‘Huskie’ yet as it prepares to take to the ADV arena for the first time. 

While the mechanicals will be almost identical to anyone familiar with the KTM Adventure 890 on which it’s based, the Norden 901 will come dressed in styling synonymous with the brand if it bears even a close resemblance to the concept unveiled at EICMA in 2019.

And it seems that will be the case looking at the latest spy shots that have come courtesy of Motorrad.de - which you can see in their full glory RIGHT HERE.

Indeed, save for a production-ready render, this is the first time the Norden 901 has been seen in public and though it is missing a number of details, it is still unmistakably Husqvarna with the circular, almost cafe racer headlight cowling, flanked by smaller spotlights.

The angular fairing also remains intact with the final production version - which could come with an innovation that keeps it upright without a stand - expected to add fluro-yellow accents.

As for when the Husqvarna 901 Norden will hit the road, the firm always had ‘early 2021’ as the target and based on these shots it is on course to do so...
