THE launch of the XL750 is getting ever near, although, until today, the price of the 2023 Honda XL750 Transalp was unknown.

Today though we can confirm exactly what the new bike costs to buy, both outright and on a PCP. We also check out how that compares to the rest of the middleweight naked class.

2023 Honda Transalp UK price

First up, the important number, landing a new 2023 Transalp in your garage this year will set you back £9,499 including on-the-road charges. On a PCP based on a £2,472 deposit, the monthly payments will equate to a nice looking £99 per month, with a final payment of just over £5,000. Not only that but the first 150 to sign on the dotted line will also be gifted a Datatool STEALTH GPS Tracker that includes the first 12 months of subscription and fitting cost. Taking some of the worries out of owning your shiny new adventure bike.

2023 Honda XL750 Transalp price versus the rivals

We’ve known about the new Transalp for some time, even getting our hands on the new bike at the recent EICMA show in Milan. The final piece of the puzzle though was the cost of it, and now that’s known, it makes it much easier to benchmark against the competition.

Aprilia Taureg

Tenere 700

And now the price is known, we can see that the Honda is looking like the pick of the mid-weight ADV pack, under-cutting the Tuareg and Tenere 700, and even trumping Suzuki, widely renowned as the budget bike buyers' best friend.

That isn’t to say each of these bikes was created equal, and some are obviously more trick than others, with more off-road ability and focus than others. They are though all modern-day middle-weight machines meaning there are off-road focused electronics to play with, capable long-travel suspension, and punchy engines.

To find out how the new 2023 Honda XL750 Transalp performs on the road and off it, we won’t have to wait long, the press launch for this bike is taking place the second week of March, and we’ll be on hand to bring you a full editorial and video review from (hopefully) sunny Portugal.
