Moto Guzzi introduces the Audace Carbon

THIS is the new Moto Guzzi Audace Carbon, which Guzzi says is the Moto Guzzi with the strongest and most rebellious character.

Technically, it remains the same as the standard Audace – it’s still powered by a 1380cc 90 degree transverse V-twin with 96hp, stopped by Brembo brakes and suspended by a conventional fork and twin shocks at the rear. The engine is also Euro 4 approved thanks to a secondary air system and new catalytic converter.

This Auduace Carbon differs from the standard Audace thanks to its finishing and ergonomics.

As you’ll guess from the name, the Audace Carbon features… carbon. Examples include the front mudguard and sides of the tanks. Elsewhere, it’s got red milled aluminium cylinder head covers and a metallic radiator grille.

The handlebar is a new shape, with the ends lowered and extended towards the rider to provide a more convenient grip. The Audace Carbon also gets cruise control along with a full ride-by-wire system.

Optional equipment includes the Moto Guzzi multimedia platform, which lets you hook up your phone to make it a functional onboard computer.
