Arch Motorcycle, owned by Hollywood film star Keanu Reeves, has given its V-Twin KRGT-1 cruisers a series of key updates for 2020

ARCH Motorcycle unveils 2020 KRGT-1

Arch Motorcycle, the Keanu Reeves owned LA motorcycle firm, has revealed its newest iteration of the KRGT-1 (2020) custom production performance cruiser.

Along with a refined aesthetic, the KRGT-1 has received some beefier brakes, Arch spec Öhlins suspension, and improved comfort. The premium cruiser - with a $78,000+ price tag - still keeps its billet aluminium S&S power plant and host of custom machine nick-nacks. It really is a thing of beauty.

The billet fuel tank has seen some contour updates to increase rider ergonomics - whilst still maintaining its 22.7l capacity. Behind the tank sits a new composite comfort seat, and a modified tail section to accommodate it. Upfront, the headlight has received some newly shaped carbon trick bits and a resized screen/cowl - helping airflow.

The key performance upgrades come in the form of a lightweight, race-inspired billet aluminium swingarm, which hooks up to a modified Arch spec Öhlins rear monoshock. The front suspension has been swapped out for bigger 48mm  Öhlins fully adjustable forks, which slip into, you guessed it, inhouse designed billet triple trees.

At the bottom of the very blingy Öhlins sits Arch specific fork bottoms, which allow the mounting of two 130mm ISR six-pot calipers. The brakes are an improvement on the last model as they have a larger internal piston diameter and a new two-channel ABS system, which was co-developed with Bosch.

As always, each KRGT-1 is tailored to the ergonomic needs and cosmetic desires of the [lucky] owner, making every motorcycle unique - hence the custom production classification.

Arch Motorcycle's Gard Hollinger, who co-founded the company with movie star and enthusiast Keanu Reeves, says. “Our new KRGT-1 stays true to the original objective while further developing and refining the motorcycle’s design and performance elements to enhance the overall riding experience.”
