KAWASAKI has announced the pricing and arrival date of the heavily updated Ninja 650 for 2020. The new machine gets a full TFT dash and Kawasaki’s Rideology app, allowing users to connect to their motorcycle wirelessly. Details such as the odometer, fuel gauge, maintenance schedule, riding logs, gear position, rpm, and other information can then be viewed.
The best value route into the new Kawasaki Ninja 650 range is with the Metallic Spark Black edition of the bike, priced at £6899. The Lime Green and Ebony (KRT Edition) and the Pearl Flat Stardust White with Metallic Flat Spark Black both come in at £7049.
Alongside the TFT dash, the new machine features a new trellis-style frame, revised rider and pillion seats, revised styling (echoing that of the ZX6-R Ninja supersports machine), full LED lighting and an improved windscreen.
Kawasaki says it is targeting the 2020 Ninja 650 at riders keen to upgrade to a more powerful machine and appeal to large capacity machine riders seeking a more affordable and economical commuter bike.
