The Africa Twin is one of Honda’s most popular models of its current range. In both the standard and Adventure Sport versions it has proven a strong candidate in the large-capacity adventure sector.
For the 2023 model year, Honda is bringing a few visual updates to the Africa Twin and Africa Twin Adventure Sports.
More specifically, there are three new colours to choose from for the 2023 model year across the two versions of Honda’s flagship adventurer.
The standard Africa Twin will remain available in “Grand Prix Red” for MY23, but there will also be the addition of two new colours: “Mat Ballistic Black Metallic,” and “Glint Wave Blue Metallic Tricolour.”
The “Black Metallic” colour will also feature an all-black frame, while the “Blue Metallic Tricolour” will feature “a new blue headlight cowl, and blue front fender and tail sections with red and white detailing,” according to Honda.
Honda will be retaining the “Pearl Glare white Tricolour” for the 2023 model year on the Africa Twin Adventure Sports, but this model will also become available in “Mat Iridium Grey Metallic.” This new colour features new black detailing to go in combination with the black wheels.
Both the Africa Twin and Africa Twin Adventure Sports will continue to be available in either manual or dual clutch transmission (DCT) options. Honda says that “in 2021 DCT versions of Africa Twin, including the Adventure Sports, accounted for 51% of the model’s sales.”
