The striking Ducati Corse paint scheme looks the business, subtle but different enough to stand out from standard machine.  Aesthetic tweaks extend to black anodising of the engine guard and rear peg hangers, rim pin-striping and a custom seat with red stitching.  No special edition is complete these days without a smattering of carbon fibre, the Multi’s race screen, front mudguard and Termignoni silencer don’t disappoint.

The annual ‘Race to the Clouds’ is held in the Rocky Mountains, Colorado and tests riders and equipment to the extreme with a 1,438m climb in altitude over the 20km course of asphalt, dirt and loose gravel.  Sheer drops and no barriers keep the mind focused and should you wish to test the Multistrada’s 4 computer controlled riding modes, then Pikes Peak is the place to do it.
