MV Agusta has unveiled a potential game-changer in the mid-capacity naked segment, with its new, limited edition Brutale Seri Oro, available in just 300 units worldwide.

The new Brutale Serie Oro arrives as the filler between MV Agusta’s 800 and 1000cc Brutale ranges, and in doing so it gets an all-new 950 EVO engine.

The result of that is more power compared to the 800, and by quite some margin too, with the new model producing 145.9bhp at 11,200rpm, instead of the 111bhp that the Brutale 800 is capable of. For reference, the new Serie Oro also produces slightly more power than the 801cc Ottantesimo edition Brutale, which makes a claimed 140 hp (138bhp).

The engine housed by the new Serie Oro model is a 931cc three-cylinder unit which also produces 78.9 Ib-ft of torque at 8,400rpm. Of that number, the new limited edition Serie Oro makes 85 per cent of its torque at just 3,500rpm.

The new 950 EVO engine is an evolution of the 931cc platform that powers the Enduro Veloce, which itself is new for 2026, albeit changes were minor for the adventure bike.

Now aboard the Brutale Serie Oro, that same engine platform has been enhanced to deliver more power, torque, and rideability. It also features a completely re-engineered cylinder head with an optimized cooling circuit, and bigger diameter steel valves.

Additionally, the powertrain includes a redesigned intake and exhaust ports, while new valve seats that have been “made from a more wear-resistant material, together with finger-follower distribution and redesigned cam profiles”.

From there, a new slipper and torque-assisted clutch has been fitted in order to reduce lever effort. A 50mm full ride-by-wire throttle body with top-feed injectors is also found aboard the limited edition model.

The new model has been developed as part of MV Agusta’s “Beyond Performance” philosophy, with the Italian brand going on to say “the new MV Agusta Brutale Serie Oro redefines the standards of the mid-class naked category, combining breathtaking performance with refined engineering and unmistakable Italian design.”

MV also says the Brutale Serie Oro is “equipped with a new matrix LED headlight”, while it receives a full Öhlins suspension package, Brembo Hypure front calipers, and a titanium Termignoni exhaust developed exclusively for the Varese-based brand.

The Brutale Serie Oro has been blessed with a completely new trellis steel frame that’s now paired with a longer swingarm. According to MV, “the frame has been refined with increased torsional rigidity, reduced weight, and a longer wheelbase, while the rake angle has been opened to further enhance precision and control”.

The swingarm has been extended, while at the front of the bike the handlebars have been raised and moved forward, with grips now incorporating a wider and higher angle to try and improve leverage and control.

The seat has been reshaped and fitted with premium red Alcantara upholstery, as MV looks to match comfort with style. The rider’s seat is 20mm wider at the front, 40mm wider and 40mm longer at the rear.

The Brembo Hypure front calipers are gripped to double floating 320mm front discs, while at the rear is a 220mm disc with Brembo double-piston 34mm calipers.

MV Agusta has not yet revealed pricing details for the new Brutale Serie Oro, but we will update this story when that information has been provided.
