Trackhouse Aprilia has taken the covers off its new livery for the 2026 MotoGP season, its third year in the premier class of grand prix racing.

The American team’s new colours are very similar to last year: blue, black, and fluorescent yellow seem to be the go-to for the satellite Aprilia squad, which remains without a full-season title sponsor.

In general it’s a fairly underwhelming colour scheme, but it is what it is and at least it’s recognisable. It will be replaced at five races by the Gulf colours that were used on occasion last year.

As for the prospects of Trackhouse’s two riders this year, there are potentially big seasons coming for both Raul Fernandez and Ai Ogura.

Fernandez took his and the team’s first MotoGP win in Australia last year, admittedly in very particular circumstances in the absence of Marc Marquez and the resulting penalties for Marco Bezzecchi, and there will be those who wonder if he can repeat that, perhaps even with some frequency, in 2026.

As for Ogura, his rookie season started strongly with top-10 speed in the first two races, even top-four speed in Thailand, but things went downhill from the middle of the season when a string of crashes and injuries knocked his confidence. Now approaching his second preseason testing campaign as a MotoGP rider, the Japanese has a chance to try to consolidate some of the lessons of his rookie year.

That preseason campaign will begin on 3–5 February at Sepang, which will host the first official test of the year. The first race will take place in Thailand on 27 February – 1 March.
