LS2 reveals new lightweight touring helmet
Spanish helmet maker LS2 has revealed yet another new helmet, which blends high-spec features with a friendly price tag.

LS2 has been very busy with new helmet reveals in recent months, a trend which is showing no signs of slowing down as the Spanish company has just launched this all-new Challenger II.

Available in a total of 11 different colours and design patterns, the Challenger II is priced at £239,99 in any of its four solid variants. For any of the seven graphic options, customers would need to pay £259,99.
The helmet’s price becomes more appealing the further you dig into the specifications of the new Challenger II, which is a touring helmet made with a High Performance Fibre Composite shell. Its lightweight shell is one of the main reasons why the overall helmet weight is just 1500 grams.

That makes it 100 grams lighter than the new Storm III, which is positioned within the company’s sport-touring range. The Storm III was unveiled towards the end of 2025.
The Challenger II features a Pinlock 120XLT MaxVision anti-fog insert as standard, as well as an internal sun visor. A healthy mix of intake and exhaust ports should keep riders cool during long rides, while the helmet also features a COOLMAX liner that’s designed to limit the amount of moisture inside the helmet, as well as being quick-drying and breathable.
The Challenger II helmet is fully compliant with ECE 22.06 safety standards, and comes ready to pair with LS2’s new Spectrum intercom system.
The helmet is currently offered in a wide range of sizes, starting from XS to 3XL.
More information about the helmet can be found on the official LS2 website.
