Motorcycle Jobs | Visordown is hiring a Junior Content Executive

Crash Media Group is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable motorcycle journalist to join its Visordown.com brand.

Visordown is one of the most read and comprehensive online motorcycle websites in the world, bringing the biggest and best two-wheel content to a global community of enthusiasts.

The new role involves producing high-quality content directly to or in conjunction with our multiple platforms, including website, social media, and video channels.

Experience of the motorcycle industry is a massive bonus, as is a passion for all things two-wheeled and experience of writing and publishing content both online and in print.

If that sounds like something you'd like to get your teeth into, read on.

The referenced media source is missing and needs to be re-embedded.

Key responsibilities:

  • Producing high quality, accurate news, and features for Visordown.com
  • Uploading the content into the Content Management System, optimising SEO to maximise the reach and engagement
  • To begin with, leads can be supplied to you, although over time we will want you to develop an understanding of where to source content from
  • Editing and re-sizing images into the CMS
  • Liaising with the social media team to ensure website content is shared in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Developing your own town of voice, to become a trusted source of motorcycle news
  • Review website performance using Google Analytics to ascertain what’s working and what isn’t
  • Flexible working can be accommodated, although at least one day in the London office per month is required – this will be a team day

Key attributes

The ideal candidate for this role will be a journalist, post-graduate, or have previous experience working in digital or print media. You’ll be hardworking, reliable, and have a keen eye for detail.

While knowledge of the motorcycle industry is massively beneficial, it’s not essential. An ability to learn on the go and develop your own understanding of bikes is.

A competitive salary, health insurance, laptop & pension are just some of the perks.
