Honda reveals Super Cub successor in Japan
Honda makes changes to its Super Cub line-up in Japan with the announcement of new 110cc motorcycles.

Honda has revealed a new four-strong ‘Lite’ 110cc line-up including a replacement for its Super Cub 50 model.
The new 110cc range has been unveiled in Japan in order to meet the latest emission rules, with the new Super Cub models joined by a Cross Cub edition and Dio scooter. These new bikes will all form part of the moped-licence-friendly sector.
British riders will perhaps be more familiar with the Super Cub C125 that’s currently available across the UK, which is joined in the Japanese brand’s quirky entry-level line-up by the likes of the Dax and Monkey 125 and MSX125 - also known as the ‘Grom’.

But over in Japan, a 50cc Super Cub existed before Honda confirmed that it would no longer be producing that model. The result of its exit has now led to Honda offering its new 110cc Super Cub models, including one aimed at delivery riders. Power for all four models reportedly tops out at around 5bhp.
The Super Cub 110 will start with a price of ¥341,000 (around £1,670) and is set to go on sale on 11 December. The annual sales target for each Super Cub has been set to 6,500. The Dio 110 Lite will be priced at ¥239,800 (roughly £1,180) and is scheduled to launch on 20 November. The sales target for the Dio is 9,000 units per year.

The standard Super Cub 110 Lite will arrive in a Virgin Beige colourway, as well as a Tasmania Green Metallic variant. The Super Cub 110 Pro Lite will be available in just one colour, which is Seychelles Night Blue.
The Super Cub Pro model will be priced at ¥385,000 (£1,895), while the Cross Cub is expected to be the most expensive model of the four, with a price of ¥401,500 (£1,975).
