Honda Racing UK reveals new Team Manager for 2026 season
Honda Racing UK has revealed Scot Hargreaves as its new Team Manager for its BSB and Road Racing campaigns.

Honda Racing UK has announced that Scot Hargreaves has taken over the position of Team Manager ahead of the 2026 British Superbike Championship.
Hargreaves will oversee the team’s participation on the roads as well, including the North West 200 and the Isle of Man TT.
Hargreaves began working with Honda in 2003 when he joined the company’s apprenticeship program. Hargreaves has remained with Honda in some capacity ever since, and in 2016 he became the Lead Chassis Mechanic for Jason O’Halloran in British Superbike.

In 2024 Hargreaves became the CBR600RR Project Manager, and crew chief for Jack Kennedy in British Supersport and John McGuinness MBE on the roads at Honda Racing. He continued in that role in 2025, before being elevated to his new position as Team Manager.
Hargreaves takes over the position which was left vacant when Havier Beltran left Honda Racing UK in 2025.
Speaking about his new role, Hargreaves said:
“I am extremely grateful to Honda for this privileged opportunity to manage Honda Racing in the British Championship and on the roads. The 2026 season is almost upon us and there is a buzz of positivity and enthusiasm around the team with a number of fresh and familiar faces amongst us. All of whom are enormously capable individuals keen to deliver on the potential we all know is possible.
“I have been a part of this team for a decade and know first-hand that there is a great team of people around me and I have learnt a great deal from each and every one of them over the years, for which I am especially thankful. I strongly believe that we have all of the necessary ingredients for a successful season and I look forward to continuing to represent Honda to the highest standard in all competitions.”
For the 2026 BSB season, O’Halloran and Ryan Vickers will compete aboard Honda’s CBR1000RR-R machines, while on the roads Honda Racing UK will be led by Dean Harrison and McGuinness MBE.
