Honda GB350S Takes Centre Stage at Wheels & Waves 2025 With 11 Jaw-Dropping Builds
Eleven custom GB350S builds from across Europe take centre stage at Wheels & Waves 2025 as Honda’s Hondacustoms competition returns with retro flair and wild creativity.

Honda’s annual European custom competition is back for its sixth year, and for 2025, it’s the retro-cool Honda GB350S that’s getting the bespoke treatment.
Eleven bikes from seven countries have been reimagined by dealers and custom builders, with each build set to go on show at the Wheels and Waves festival in Biarritz, France.

Last year, it was Turkey’s Bunker Garage that stole the show with its sublime CL500-based café racer, but this year the single-cylinder GB350S takes centre stage. And with its ‘Ride with Life, Live with Passion’ mantra and bang-on-trend retro styling, it’s not hard to see why it’s a popular canvas for custom creativity.
Voting opens at hondacustoms.com, with the winner to be announced later this summer.
Here’s a look at all 11 entries:
The Rocket Lion – Honda Motor Center León (Spain)

A Spanish-built café racer that channels the spirit of Honda’s racing past. The Rocket Lion from León brings back the vibes of classic GP machines, thanks to a modified RC181 fairing, custom rear cowling, and a GP-inspired riding stance. Michelin Road Classics and titanium fixings give it serious detail points, while the oversized Honda logo adds a welcome dose of nostalgia.
Clubman TT – Mallorca Motos (Spain)

Inspired by the '70s street racing scene and the raw energy of the Isle of Man, the Clubman TT keeps things low and lean. Clip-ons, a short seat unit and a stubby blacked-out exhaust sharpen its silhouette, while the wild paint job fades from sea-green to sky-blue, apparently it's an homage to the natural colours of the island - I’m guessing mist and fog is harder to portray in paint!
Miranda – Honda Motorsport Las Rozas (Spain)

Named after the project leader’s daughter, Miranda is a rolling tribute to freedom, personality and pink. This candy-painted custom comes courtesy of an all-female team and features a slick new headlight cowl, revised seat unit, Arrow exhaust, and upgraded YSS rear suspension.
MBX350 – Servihonda Málaga (Spain)

It’s the 1980s, reloaded. The MBX350 riffs hard on the legendary MBX80 two-stroke, down to the square mirrors, boxy bodywork, and red Pro-Link decals. Using refurbished parts and factory-style finishes, this one looks like it rolled straight out of a time machine… or a Honda dealership circa 1985.
Mia – TubaisMoto (Portugal)

A clean-cut café racer with old-school vibes and modern flair. Mia features a tall frontal fairing, HRC-style tricolour paint, and a sleek stripe that fades across the seat cowl. Spoked wheels, low-slung exhaust and a minimalist LED tail light complete the package. Subtle, stylish and bang on theme.
Okira – Ruleshaker & Freaky Debbie (France)

This one’s less bike, more fashion statement. Okira is a head-turning collaboration between designer Freaky Debbie and builder Ruleshaker, using upcycled apparel and race gear to create a rolling work of art. Leather, layers, and a patchwork HRC livery turn this GB350S into a two-wheeled catwalk queen.
Silver Bullet – Farnham Honda (UK)

True Brit café racer energy right here. Silver Bullet goes all in with a bullet-nose fairing, alloy tank, clip-ons under the yoke, and rearsets on machined hangers. It rolls on racing slicks, flashes braided lines and a wave disc, and looks ready to blast down the Ace Café straight.
FTR350 – Vertu Honda (UK)

Flat track meets GB350S. The FTR350 ditches the headlight for a race plate, swaps the seat for a high-rise unit, and finishes it off with wire wheels and a custom Racefit exhaust. Bold red paint, aggressive graphics and a raw, stripped-down aesthetic make this one a standout.
Swiss Wing – Pellicari Design (Switzerland)

Aviation inspiration takes off with the Swiss Wing. Pellicari Design has incorporated rivets, louvres, and aircraft-style detailing into this candy-red GB350S. With whitewall tyres, dual pipes, and a sprung seat hovering over twin mufflers, it’s more Flying Fortress than flying wedge. One of the most intricate builds of the lot.
Hachimaan – MAAN Motocicli Audaci (Italy)

Named after the Japanese god of war, Hachimaan brings a raw, bobber-style edge to the competition. With a hardtail-style frame section, peanut tank, ghost-flamed paint and a suicide shifter, it’s as radical as it is rideable. Bonus points for the zip-tied owner’s manual on the bars.
GRAND (B)RIX – Sporty Bike (Germany)

Stealthy and classy in equal measure, the GRAND (B)RIX channels black-and-gold café racer cool. Lowered yokes, sporty ‘bars and bar-end mirrors bring the stance, while a stitched seat, gold shocks and heat-wrapped exhaust complete the murdered-out look. Understated but spot on.
