Honda and Ixon have teamed up on a new collection of riding gear, although it won’t be available until March 2027.

Ixon has a long history of producing riding apparel, including in MotoGP where the likes of Brad Binder (KTM), Alex Rins (Yamaha), and current Honda test rider Aleix Espargaro all use the French company’s race suits.

The new collection is set to be available solely through Honda dealers, and is topped by the Vortex 3 full leather suit, which is finished in Honda’s iconic blue and red colours.

The Vortex 3 suit has been developed especially for track use, and features a MotoGP-inspired aerodynamic hump on the spine, as well as a removable mesh vest and accordion stretch zones in the shoulders, back and knees for increased comfort.

The leather suit is joined by the Striker 2 jacket, which is finished in black with flashes of red detailing. There’s also the new Odin adventure jacket, which comes in two colourways and is waterproof.

The adventure jacket pairs with the Odin protective slim-fit trousers, which are available in matching colours. The Honda and Ixon partnership will also see the arrival of a Smoton urban jacket.

Rounding out the initial collection is a range of three different glove designs, which includes the Sinergy, Air 2, and Mig 2 short-cuff riding gloves. All items in the collection have been designed specifically to match the “ergonomics, performance characteristics, and design DNA of Honda’s machines”, according to the Japanese company.

Speaking about the new collection, Rui Rosa, Motorcycle Deputy General Manager at Honda Motor Europe, said:

“Partnering with Ixon allows us to extend that connection beyond the bike itself. Together, we can create equipment that enhances performance, comfort, and safety while reflecting the spirit of our brand.”
