More teams, clearer format: Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup takes shape
With the grid growing and ticket sales now open, Harley-Davidson has revealed how race weekends will pan out for the new Bagger World Cup, including a revised schedule for the Mugello round.

Harley-Davidson has confirmed further details of its new Bagger World Cup ahead of the inaugural 2026 season, adding another team to the grid, locking in the weekend format for most rounds, and opening ticket sales across all six events.
The latest team to join the provisional entry list is Niti Racing from Indonesia, lining up alongside Saddlemen Race Development (USA), Cecchini Racing Garage (Italy) and Joe Rascal Racing (Australia). It marks the first time an Indonesian team has appeared on the MotoGP stage, with Harley-Davidson keen to underline the series’ global intent from the outset.
There is also a small but meaningful boost to grid numbers, with Joe Rascal Racing receiving approval to expand from two riders to three. That takes the provisional tally to four teams and nine riders, with further discussions ongoing and a first rider line-up expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

According to Harley-Davidson’s Global Director of Racing Programs, Jeffrey Schuessler, the focus remains on building the championship “in a structured and sustainable way”, rather than rushing to fill the grid.
Alongside the team news, organisers have confirmed how race weekends will run. Five of the six rounds will follow a Saturday–Sunday race format across a standard three-day Grand Prix weekend.
At the United States (Austin), Netherlands (Assen), Great Britain (Silverstone), Aragón and Austria rounds, Friday will feature Free Practice 1 and 2. Saturday will see qualifying sessions around midday, followed by Race 1 in the afternoon, scheduled directly after the MotoGP Tissot Sprint. Race 2 will take place on Sunday, either in the morning or afternoon, depending on the event timetable.
The Italian Grand Prix at Mugello is the exception. There, Friday will include FP1, FP2 and Qualifying, with both Race 1 and Race 2 held on Saturday.

Ticket sales have also opened, with dedicated Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup packages available for all six rounds. These include access to a branded grandstand, motorcycle parking, helmet and jacket storage (subject to availability), a Harley-Davidson fan pack, paddock and garage access, and entry to both MotoGP and the Harley-Davidson Fan Zone.
The 2026 calendar runs as follows: Austin (March 27–29), Mugello (May 29–31), Assen (June 26–28), Silverstone (August 7–9), Aragón (August 28–30), and the championship finale at the Red Bull Ring in Austria on September 18–20.
You can find out more about the ticket packages on the official website.
