54 years 8 monthsSUZUKI has launched a vintage parts service to cater for growing interest in classic models like the RGV250, GT750 'Kettle' and GSX-R750 'Slabside'.
The Vintage Parts Programme has launched by listing every original part still available for the RGV250 on a new section of Suzuki's website. They include engine, carburettor and bodywork parts.
Three models are 'coming soon' according to the web page: the 750 Kettle, Slabside GSXR750H and GSX-R1100M.
Other models due to feature are the GS1000S, AP50, GSX1100S Katana, GT250 X7 and RG500.
There's also a section for owners to upload pictures of their bikes.
Suzuki GB Aftersales Marketing Coordinator, Tim Davies, said, "We’re delighted to announce details of our new Vintage Parts Programme, which helps us further meet the growing demand and interest our customers have for more classic machines from Suzuki’s history.
“I think across motorcycling at large we’re seeing a lot more interest from people who are looking for an older machine that perhaps they rode or wanted when they were younger, or riders who are looking for a bit of a project.
“Our Vintage Parts Programme makes the whole experience of owning a classic Suzuki even better, with specialist knowledge on hand, a complete list of available parts and accompanying images, and the service manuals too.
“We’ll be launching the campaign with the sought after RGV250K, and adding a new model every quarter, but we also want customers to share their own images with us of their classic Suzukis, some before and after shots maybe, and to also let us know if there are any models they’d really like to see added to the programme.”
