Made by hand, the 'Zero scooter' is constructed using real Vespa scooter panels and is fully made to order with customisable colours, logos and vinyl available at extra cost.
It can reach speeds of 12.5mph and has a range of 18-22 miles per charge from its lithium batteries.
The scooter weighs 51kg and can carry loads of up to 180kg. Each wheel has a 1.34hp electric motor enabling it to climb 30° inclines and turn 360° on itself.
The designers Bel&Bel, based in Barcelona, say that riding the machine can be mastered in just 10 minutes and will fit people of different heights thanks to the adjustable steering column. The scooter is available from Maxihobby for £2445 and comes with a five-year warranty.
