Snetterton trackday fatality named

THE MOTORCYCLIST who died at a Snetterton trackday has today been named as Philip Paul from Oakham, in Leicestershire.

The 49-year-old was taking part in a track day at the Norfolk circuit last Friday when he was involved in a crash with two other riders.

Mr Paul was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened at about 9.45am. The East Anglian Air Ambulance was called to take another motorcyclist to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with wrist, neck and back injuries. And a third man was treated at the scene with minor injuries. The race track at Snetterton was closed for three hours on Friday following the crash.
