World class skateboarder dies after motorcycle plunges into canal

A WORLD CLASS skateboarder has been killed after his motorcycle plunged into a canal, it has been announced.

The body of Canadian Josh Evin, 29, was recovered by police divers after the skateboarding professional was involved in an early-morning motorcycle crash.

Reports say Evin, and a 37-year-old male passenger, plunged into the canal in the early hours of Sunday morning. The pillion scrambled to safety and has now been discharged from hospital.

Evin was ranked among the top 10 professional skateboarders in the world.
