Infamous bike gang file lawsuit over fashion house designer products

Hells Angels take legal action over logo misuse

THE HELLS ANGELS have become in embroiled in a US lawsuit over the clubs's trademark winged skull logo, claiming Alexander McQueen fashion house has used the infamous symbol without prior permission.

The Angels have alleged the French-owned Alexander McQueen brand has breached trademark protections by using the club's logo on a variety of the company's fashion products, including jewellery, handbags and other fashion accessories. Oh, and the Angels are none too chuffed about a rather fetching dress (see right).

The motorcycle 'club' is no stranger to flexing its legal muscles; in 2006, the group filed a lawsuit against Walt Disney films over the use of the club's name in the film 'Wild Dogs'.
