ONE OF THE UK’s leading Husqvarna dealers has been raided by thieves, who made off with six bikes and seriously damaged to a number of others.

Announcing Tuesday night's theft on Facebook, Husky Sports manager Mike Carter wrote:

“Unfortunately we suffered a ram raid last night with substantial damage to our showroom frontage. The following 6 Hondas were stolen, please share far and wide, any information gratefully received:

“Although they only took Hondas this is probably because the Husqvarnas were all damaged when they rammed their way through the window, the list of damage is extensive.”

The bikes stolen include five new models, and one used.

New bikes:

CRF110 LALJE02A0H3201342

CRF110 LALJE02A4H3201327

CRF125 LALJE03A7H3101771

CRF150 JH2KE03A3JK600054

CRF250X JH2ME11A9DK801060

Used bike:

CRF250XRL JH2ME11A8DK800983 Reg No: RX67 DNV

The dealership, which is based in Cheriton near Winchester, has been specialising in Husqvarnas since Cagiva took over the brand in the late 1980s. Until 2010 it was the UK importer.

Fans have expressed their anger at the raid, and the devastation it left at the dealership.
