54 years 8 monthsRUMOURS from the Paris motorcycle show have crossed the channel, back to Visordown HQ. Allegedly, the all-new 2007 GSX-R1000 will feature traction control. The system will offer the rider three settings; normal, wet and sports.
Aside from this revelation, the GSX-R1000 also features two exhausts, one either side of the bike. No, this isn't a cunning hook-up between Suzuki and aftermarket exhaust manufacturers, it is to enable the GSX-R1000 to get past the ever-tougher Euro III emissions standards.
Other rumours include possible variable valve timing or intake geometry to further improve power.
We'll report back with more news, very soon.
