H&H Classics is gearing up for its final classic motorcycle and vintage scooter auction of 2025, and the early entries suggest it’s going to be another blockbuster. Taking place at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull on Wednesday 29 October, the sale catalogue is already attracting serious attention.

The headline lot so far is a 2003 Foggy Petronas FP1, the ultra-rare 900cc triple built in tiny numbers to homologate Carl Fogarty’s short-lived World Superbike project. Just 75 were built in the UK and this example has only delivery miles on the clock, having spent its life in storage or on display. Estimated at £29,000 to £34,000, the FP1 comes complete with all the exotic components you’d expect from an early-2000s homologation special, and offers a rare chance to own a machine steeped in superbike folklore.

Alongside the FP1, Ducati fans will be eyeing up a 1991 851 SP3. It is number 447 of only 500 built, the SP3 was Ducati’s way of sneaking its then-groundbreaking Desmoquattro engine into racing. This particular example is highly original, presented with both keys and its tool kit still intact, and has a guide price of between £14,000 and £18,000.

Collectors of older machinery are catered for too. A 1924 Henderson Deluxe, in single-family ownership since the 1940s, is also set to cross the block. One of the most celebrated motorcycles of its generation, the four-cylinder Henderson carries an estimate of £14,000 to £16,000.

For those with a taste for scooters, a 1965 Lambretta GT200 has already been consigned, estimated at £9,000 to £11,000 and expected to spark plenty of interest among vintage scooter enthusiasts.

Mike Davis, senior motorcycle specialist at H&H Classics, said: “This is our last classic motorcycle and vintage scooter auction of 2025 and we’re aiming to repeat the success of the previous two earlier in the year. Judging by the early entries, signs look good.”

With the previous sale attracting bidders from 25 countries, more than 150 machines beating their top estimates and an impressive 97 percent sell-through rate, the October auction looks set to deliver another high-octane finale to H&H’s 2025 calendar.
