Alongside the new Indian Scout Sixty lineup for 2025 which includes Bobber and Classic models in two separate trims, the new Roadmaster Elite has arrived on the market. But it’s far from cheap, jumping to the top of the price range across all Indian motorcycles.

As premium as it gets for the American company, the new limited edition Roadmaster Elite, available in just 300 units (60 outside of North America), has surpassed the Challenger Elite and costs £38,695 - the same price as the 2024 model.

Not exactly affordable for most folk, however, the exclusivity of the new Roadmaster Elite means it's likely to be a very coveted bike with only four coming to the UK. Customers who opt to buy the new 2025 model will be paying £10k more than a non-Elite Roadmaster model.

What the extra £10k does not give you is increased power from its usual 1890cc air-cooled V-twin ‘Thunderstroke 116’ engine which produces 126Ib ft of torque like the rest of the Roadmaster range. The bike’s peak power figures have been kept secret by the American brand, but the same engine in the Indian Sport Chief puts out 89bhp for reference.

With a weight of 404kg before fuel, riders or luggage has been added, comfort rather than speed is clearly what the Roadmaster Elite has been developed for.

So where does the new premium Roadmaster Elite add its value? Well, for starters, it includes heated and cooled seats for both the rider and passenger. The new windscreen is electrically adjustable across 102mm of travel, and speakers which are located in the front fairing.

Indian has also introduced a new adaptive LED unit, which not only has a higher output than the previous version, but it also uses lean-angle sensors to illuminate the road through bends.

The brakes include a four-piston, dual 300mm floating rotor at the front, while a two-piston, single 300mm floating rotor comprises the rear. A 46mm fork with 199mm of travel features as the suspension set-up at the front, and a single shock is at the rear with 114mm of travel.

One colourway is available when buying the new 2025 Roadmaster Elite which is a tri-tone scheme with hand-painted gold accents over a Springfield Blue Candy livery.
