Entry-Level Cruiser from CFMoto Arrives, but Not in the UK, Yet!
CFMoto’s new entry-level 250CL-C cruiser has landed in Australia, and it shares plenty of DNA with its larger 450CL-C sibling

Described as a “British-style cruiser”, CFMoto Australia has unveiled the new lightweight entry-level 250CL-C motorcycle that shares DNA with its 450CL-C sibling that’s currently available across Europe.
We hope the smaller model will make its way over to the UK, but for now, its availability is only in selected markets, however, we do know plenty about the bike already.
The 250CL-C features a two-colour glossy tank, integrated LED tail/brake lights to match with the round LED headlight, and a three-inch round instrument cluster that includes analogue and LCD displays.
Powered by a 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, the 250CL-C produces 24.8bhp at 9,800rpm and 15Ib ft of torque at 7,000rpm. A CF-SC slipper clutch comes as standard, which is claimed to reduce the rider’s clutch lever effort by 30 per cent.

Telescopic front forks are paired with twin rear shocks out back, while the 250CL-C also gets 16-inch tyres. Available in a Teal Green (my personal favourite), Nebula Black and Velocity Grey colourways, the small-capacity cruiser features a wet weight of 165kg, 150mm of ground clearance and a 13.5 litre fuel tank.
As well as the low ground clearance, seat height is also more than manageable for riders of all heights, coming in at just 690mm.
J.Juan is the braking supplier, as a large 300mm front disc is gripped by a four-piston calliper, while a single-piston caliper is found at the rear with 220mm disc.
The 250CL-C includes dual-channel ABS as standard and also offers traction control (TCS) standard.
Available for $7,490 (Australian Dollars), the same bike arriving on UK shores could result in a price around £3,580. If it did land here, we expect that price to inflate a bit thanks to export and shipping costs plus tax.
