Multistrada V4 first to get Ducati’s new Factory Made customisation scheme
Ducati Factory Made allows European buyers to order bespoke paint, wheels and options direct from Borgo Panigale - Multistrada V4 get first dibs.

Ducati has introduced a new customisation program called Ducati Factory Made, and the first bike to get the Factory Made treatment is its hugely popular Multistrada V4.

In simple terms, it means buyers can now spec certain colours, options and accessories at the point of order, with the bike built that way on the production line at Borgo Panigale. No dealer fitments after the fact, no stripping panels off a brand-new bike to repaint them. It all happens before the bike leaves the factory.

The programme launches in Europe and focuses, for now, on the Multistrada V4 range, although more models are assumed to be included further down the line. Customers can choose from a broad list of paint finishes and liveries, split into various themes. There are traditional Ducati colours, gloss finishes, matt options and a set of sportier “Performance” and Ducati Corse-inspired schemes.

There’s also a link-up with Automobili Lamborghini. A handful of Lamborghini’s Ad Personam colours, including Viola Pasifae and Verde Scandal, are now available through the Multistrada configurator. It’s not the first time the two Italian brands have worked together, but this is the first time Lamborghini's paint options have been folded into a regular production model’s ordering process.

Beyond paint, Ducati Factory Made allows buyers to tweak parts such as wheel options cinluding cast, forged, or spoked, and different colours for items like the rear subframe and brake calipers can also be specced. There are also seat height options for rider and passenger, plus suspension height settings, allowing the bike to be tailored more closely to the rider before it even arrives at the dealership.

The usual accessory packages, Touring, Adventure, Sport, Tech and Enduro, can still be added as part of the same build. The scheme also extends to the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and RS, although changes there are largely limited to ergonomic adjustments and selected cosmetic details.
Ducati Factory Made is live now on Ducati’s website. Customers can configure their bike online and send the finished spec to a dealer for a quote, with the factory building it to that order from day one.
