A brand-new 2004 Honda Dream CB50R, built to commemorate the Japanese brand’s early racing history that began in the 50cc class, is up for sale in Damme, Belgium.

Over the course of its history, Honda has gone on to produce various iconic motorcycles. If we stick with the racing theme, the Fireblade is an obvious one that comes to mind, as is the NSR500.

However, Honda has also shown us that you don’t just need 500s or big 1000cc machines to have fun. In 2004, this elegant Dream CB50R was released by Honda but it’s been kept in its original box ever since and has never been taken out on the road as a result.

Widely regarded as a collector’s item now, the bike was seen as a modern tribute to the 1962 RC110.

The bike uses a four-stroke engine that produces 7 bhp and is mated to a six-speed gearbox, Additionally, there’s plenty of trick racing features that are found on the bike, according to Iconic Motorbikes.

The listing also says the bike does not have a kickstart or start button, instead you will need to bump start it. That should be fairly easy, as it weighs just approximately 70kg! The diminutive CB50R also features no odometer.

When it comes to shipping, interested buyers can fill out a form on the Iconic Motorbikes website, where you will then be provided with a shipping quote.

Should you want to have the bike shipped with any additional parts, then you can reference those when filling out the online form. Any additional parts can be ordered from HRC in Japan, says the auction house.

Finally, Iconic Motorbikes claims the bike is completely stock and comes with the same original Bridgestone tyres that it was sold with. The bike’s price is currently set at $21,000 (around £15,750).
