A custom Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Flat Tracker has shown up wearing a Carolina Reaper livery in Japan.

Predictably, the 33rd edition of the Yokohama Hot Rod Custom show threw up some wild and surprising builds. But even so, we still didn’t expect a Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 to be dressed up in a Carolina Reaper hot chili theme.

Royal Enfield has a long list of models that are highly desired for custom projects, and the Guerrilla 450, which debuted in 2024, is quickly becoming a go-to in that regard.

But this Carolina Reaper-infused version might just be the most bonkers you will find. The build was carried out by Tokyo-based Cheetah Custom Cycles, and keeps the same liquid-cooled Sherpa 450 single-cylinder engine that’s housed by the Himalayan 450.

The design features a clear nod to American flat track racers of the 1970s, and has received a new rear subframe that was hand-built, along with aluminium bodywork.

The build was headed by Toshiyuki Osawa, and it benefits from a stainless steel exhaust header and IXRACE muffler. Suspension is handled by WP, with the Guerrilla 450 also using 19-inch wheels with Maxxis DTR-1 tyres. At the back we can see a single Brembo rear brake caliper, too.

The new Carolina Reaper Guerrilla 450 was joined by a ‘Vita’ custom model, which used RE’s Classic 650 platform as the base for its design.

Both motorcycles were revealed as part of Royal Enfield’s Custom World programme, where the manufacturer collaborates with independent builders to produce one-off models.

As a result neither model is intended for production, but the programme does give us a nice idea of what the company’s bikes could look like beyond the more neutral colourways and designs that brands usually opt for.
