Cardo has now bolstered its two-wheeled presence further through a major partnership with Apple.

The partnership sees Cardo’s premium Ride Pro app receive the Apple CarPlay dashboard integration system, meaning more tech, and a more seamless experience will be on offer, according to Cardo.

Many modern day motorcycles are equipped with varying TFT screen sizes that support Apple CarPlay, and by entering into this agreement, riders with the Cardo app will be able to access a detailed navigation system, while also managing their journey via a more intuitive interface.

In addition to dashboard integration, Cardo’s Ride Pro system includes features such as Tracking, allowing riders to record every trip they go on, as well as viewing their route on an interactive map, and accessing a wide range of riding data. Cardo’s tracking feature also lets riders share their location with friends, which is a useful tool especially for those that ride regularly in larger groups.

Alon Lumbroso, CEO of Cardo Systems, said this about the partnership with Apple:

“At Cardo, we’re committed to delivering more than just world-class communication, we’re building an ecosystem that enhances every moment of the riding experience. Adding Apple CarPlay support to Cardo Ride is another step toward giving riders the seamless connectivity they expect, allowing them to navigate confidently while focusing on the ride.”

The latest version of the Cardo Ride Pro is already available on the Apple App Store. Therefore, riders can update their system as we speak, although you may still need to check whether your motorcycle display has Apple CarPlay compatibility. Cardo is also planning to release Android Auto compatibility soon, although no official time frame has been confirmed as of now.
