British Speedway race goes full Nascar with on-track scrap!
A British Speedway heat has seen two riders go full Nascar with their best on-track scrap efforts.

Sometimes in racing things get a little heated, which can lead to some pretty aggressive on-track battles. But they don’t tend to result in an actual fight like this particular British Speedway race.
The on-track scrap, which involved a fist being thrown before a headlock manoeuvre, took place between a rider from the Redcar Bears and Scunthorpe Scorpions teams.
Not to make light of the situation, but the video posted by British Speedway Network, on Facebook, begins with one individual casually trying to break up the fight before throwing his hands in the air and leaving it to the next person.
If you’re a fan of all types of racing you’ve probably seen some pretty bizarre encounters over the years, and this incident was certainly one of those as both riders needed to be separated by race officials and what looked like personnel from both teams.
It’s unclear what type of incident came before the on-track scrap, but the two riders eventually walked away together and seemed to have put the scrap behind them.
The two riders involved in the brawl were Charles Wright and Jake Allen, and it was Wright’s Redcar Bears that ultimately came away victorious on the night, with a 45-43 win.
The Scunthorpe Scorpions (Allen’s team) finished bottom of the nine-team Cab Direct championship. On the other hand, the Redcar Bears finished third and have since moved on to the playoffs.
Here's a video of the on-track scrap.
