A Francesco Bagnaia-signed Ducati Panigale V4 is heading for auction this month, and is estimated to sell for around £45,000 to £50,000.

MotoGP fans may remember when the Italian brand unveiled the special Francesco Bagnaia replica in 2022, which took place during a press conference presented by Ducati CEO, Claudio Domenicali. If you do, then you will recognise this bike as one that looks very similar to the championship-winning livery Bagnaia used that season.

Based on Ducati’s Panigale V4 S, this bike is number 168 of just 260 Bagnaia replicas that were built four years ago. After his maiden title success in 2022, Bagnaia then went on to win the 2023 title following a hard-fought battle against former Ducati star Jorge Martin.

The bike up for auction is being presented by Iconic Auctioneers, and will go up for sale on 9 November, as part of the NEC Classic Motor Show.

It is a 2023 model which still has zero miles on the clock since being bought from new for £56,000.

The Panigale V4 Bagnaia comes standard with a dry clutch, Akrapovic street-legal exhaust, Brembo Stylema R calipers, Rizoma billet aluminium adjustable footpegs and various carbon fibre components. They include the heat shield for the rear exhaust manifolds, alternator cover, front and rear mudguards, brake manifolds and the single-sided swingarm cover.

The model’s individual plaque number, and Bagnaia’s official race number, are both laser-engraved on the upper yoke clamp.

It is one of several stunning bikes set to be auctioned at next month’s Iconic Motorcycle Sale, which also includes a four-strong retro bike collection from Evo Magazine founder Harry Metcalfe. However, the most prized lot is the official Andrea Dovizioso 2019 MotoGP bike.
