Alpha Racing’s RC-SBK-M is a clone of Toprak Razgatlioglu’s M1000 RR

Alpha Racing makes riding a near-identical bike to Toprak Razgatlioglu’s WorldSBK-spec M1000 RR possible.

Alpha Racing has teamed up with BMW’s Motorsport division to create an M1000 RR equivalent that is practically identical to the WorldSBK machine that’s challenging for the 2025 title.

A regular tuning partner for BMW since 2021, Alpha Racing builds track-ready bikes for teams competing in national and international Superstock and Superbike championships, and track day enthusiasts.

And that partnership has now resulted in this stunning, full carbon fibre RC-SBK-M model, which is the closest possible bike you could get to that of a fully-fledged WorldSBK-spec model, and one ridden by Razgatlioglu.

The bike is not a tribute to the M1000 RR that’s currently being raced by Razgatlioglu and his Dutch teammate Michael Van Der Mark, but rather an authentic replica with approved racing homologation.

Stripped of the sponsors used by the BMW Motorrad team, very little is different as it boasts the best of the best when it comes to tech and parts.

A full Ohlins RVP25-30 competition fork is paired with an Ohlins RSP40 rear shock absorber, while braking is taken care of through Brembo GP4-PR callipers with 335mm floating discs. OZ forged wheels, a complete Akrapovic exhaust system, 24-litre tank and Ilmberger carbon fibre fairing round out the list of premium equipment.

Now, the main thing that’s going to stop people in their tracks when buying this bike is the price. This is a WorldSBK-spec motorcycle, which includes DNA from a world championship-winning manufacturer, and it is therefore priced as such. To buy the bike you will need to fork out €149,000 (around £128,400) plus VAT.

World champion with BMW in his first season with the German brand in 2024, Razgatlioglu is currently on his way to making it two from two as he leads Ducati’s Niclo Bulega in the standings with four rounds to go.

Regardless of what happens in those four rounds, Razgatlioglu will leave BMW at the end of 2025 as he switches to MotoGP, which could make this bike from Alpha Racing appeal even more to his fans.
