Motorcycle sales enjoyed a sizeable jump across Europe in 2019 with the United Kingdom contributing its own 1.5% increase versus 2018 and one of the big reasons for this was the enduring popularity of the naked category.
The segment is one of the biggest and most crucial for manufacturers as represented by all the major players hitting the market with some fresh new models each year… and 2020 looks set to be no exception.
From 125s right up to burly power cruisers, the naked class covers a wide breadth and ensures there really is something for everyone on the scale.

At the very least you are spoilt for choice with new models on the way from Triumph, which has given the Street Triple RS and Speed Triple a facelift to bring them up to date and into line with a raft of new models emerging from Hinckley recently, including the Rocket 3 and the Tiger 900.
Honda has also come to market with the handsome CB650R, while the expanded Yamaha MT range – one of the most popular models in Europe – has options from 125 all the way to 1000cc and Kawasaki is currently in the process of updating many of its models.
