Race boots normally end up killing me after an hour or so of wearing them.
My calves are too big for most Italian-cut stuff but these Arlen Ness AN1064 (yes, great name, aye?) jobbies are super-comfy. Even the sole seems wider than most so if you’re feet are broad then it’s a double bonus.
The white leather, after a whole year of neglect, has turned an odd, silver/blue colour and the toe sliders lasted for just one afternoon at a race track.
They look like solid sliders but they’re hollow. If you do track days and you fancy a pair of comfy race boots factor several pairs of extra sliders into your boot budget.
The price surprised me. I expected these boots to a be a lot more expensive. This boot has now been superceded by a boot with an equally memorable name that I’ve, er, forgotten.
