Designed with warm-weather riding in mind, the Ventar Air TX uses a largely mesh construction to maximise airflow while retaining the aggressive styling you'd expect from the Italian brand. For days when the weather inevitably turns, a removable windproof liner can be zipped in to take the edge off cooler conditions without adding too much bulk.
Protection comes in the form of a CE Level A-certified chassis fitted with Level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors as standard. Riders looking for more coverage can also add optional back and chest protectors, while the jacket is compatible with Dainese's Smart Air airbag system.
The jacket borrows heavily from Dainese's racing kit, with pronounced shoulders and interchangeable aluminium shoulder plates giving it a track-inspired look. Practicality hasn't been forgotten either, with adjustment at the collar, cuffs and waist helping riders dial in the fit, while a jacket-to-trousers connection zip makes it easier to keep everything in place.
Storage is handled by internal and external pockets, including a waterproof inner pocket for valuables that need to stay dry if the weather takes a turn.
The Dainese Ventar Air TX is available in black/white or red/white/black, in UK sizes 34 to 54 (EU 44 to 64), with prices starting from £379.
