Bubba Stewart unveils Nike MX boots

Sports clothing giant releases new MX footwear

NIKE has moved into the MX clothing game with the recently unveiling of the 6.0 boot, worn by racing legend James Bubba Stewart.

With a slight retro look, the 6.0s like they've been designed and built with all the latest MX boot technology.

The boots were developed by Nike 6.0 rider Ryan  Dungey. The 6,0s were worn for the first time in public at the Anaheim Supercross opening event January 9, 2010 by Nike 6.0  riders James Stewart and Ryan Dungey (Stewart and Dungey placed 1st and 2nd respectively at the event).

The cocus of boot is to make it  ultra light weight (2 pounds per pair lighter than lightest boot on the  market) and to also give the rider more feeling and bringing them closer to  the bike (4mm/16% closer to the footpeg than industry standard).

UK prices and availability have yet to be announced.
