Overall Review

I rode a few early k series models ,went out and bought a k6..not good it was a slug, had fun touring and stuff , but it always sounded clunky!later bought an f1...bloody aweful..slug poor performance, poor economy..I heard that pops honda thought that too and for their last incarnation the f2 was born...what a gem..redesigned engine, no more rattles, ecomomicalish, and fast! 125 mph...like the old ones...would i recomend one yes..but chose carefully, as it can be an expensive mistake,

Strengths

Easy to maintain, reliable, ...early K0 series more fun than k6,k7,or f1

Weaknesses

big variance in type and models , noisy primaries, slow!! not vary economical

Overall Review

Compared with what else was available in the day it was a good bike, i had the K2 for 4 years and loved it, the F2 later was a lot quicker, but had lost its way a little,

Strengths

Smooth, good power band, good distance bike with comfort, compared to british stuff it was a dream, even the Kawasaki H2 750 triple i had was very poor in comparison, it used to vibrate your feet of the footrest and was a typlical 2 stroker that was good to throw round but thats all, poor build and thirsty as hell.

Weaknesses

very heavy, ground out far too easy , a nightmare if you had two up!, brakes didnt work in the rain, notmuch better in the dry
